I didn’t really know Yorkshire before I acquired a campervan and started exploring parts of the UK that had somehow “passed me by”. Since then I’ve had a few trips and have fallen in love with the region and its landscapes, which are so different to anything we have in Scotland. This area – Calderdale – didn’t look very promising at first glance, but I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of it. Highlights included Hebden Bridge, one of the most cosmopolitan towns I’ve come across, and walking on the moors.
