The spring 2018 issue of Outdoor Enthusiast contains a 6-page feature I wrote about the North Coast 500, Scotland’s most successful tourist route. I completed the journey in very changeable spring weather that provided some glorious light conditions for photography. It was a great opportunity to enjoy walking in locations with varied, and often very rugged, coastal scenery. The wildlife I encountered included golden and sea eagles, red deer stags and fulmars.
