Based in Perthshire, I have spent the past 25 years exploring, writing about and photographing Scotland. During that time I have acquired a detailed understanding of the country’s rural places and their landscapes, wildlife and culture.

My work appears in magazines, newspapers and guidebooks, as well as on websites, leaflets and interpretation boards. I am currently writing a creative non-fiction book about buying a wooded hillside and restoring its ecology.
